Quick take

  • Raises head/feet depending on model.
  • Requires a compatible flexible mattress.
  • Split configurations can allow partners to use different positions.

What moves

Hinged platform sections are driven by motors so the upper body and/or legs can be elevated.

Compatibility

Foam and many flexible hybrid or air mattresses can work on adjustable bases, but the manufacturer’s compatibility rules control.

Split sizes

Split king and similar configurations can provide independent position control if the base and mattress are configured for it.

Airpedic context

Airpedic sells adjustable bases alongside its mattress lineup. If pairing products, verify the exact size and configuration directly with the merchant.
